What is Ambulatory Surgery (ASC)?

Outpatient surgery or surgery that does not require an overnight hospital stay (more than 24 hours). Other names Day surgery / Same Day Surgery / Short Procedure Unit / SDS. E.g: Hernia repair, Eye cataract surgery, etc.,
